Consider this personal research before putting all my eggs in one basket.

A little bit of backstory: I grew up in NY and moved to NC in 2010. Met my husband down here (he is NC born). We are both looking for a change of scenery and somewhere that is a little bit “halfway” between his family and mine. I am fortunate enough to still be able work for my employer should we move, but he would have to find work. He does a lot of work with steam plants and all of the maintenance stuff that goes with it. We pretty much keep to ourselves (absolute homebodies with the occasional trip to weird and unusual sights) and honestly, the items about other residents keeping to themselves are definitely pros!
