Claude in automation; PLC/HMI programming

Hi, I'm an automation engineer, my job is basically to do PLC/HMI programming and debugging, working on station sequences and communication logic. I'd like to know if anybody has any experience with Claude working in this kind of programming environment. I've heard it's pretty good with programming in general but I don't know how it performs with languages such as Ladder or STL/AWL.

I've never used this AI and barely know anything about it, I heard from my brother who works a lot in computer systems and said it works great with him. I'm currently working along with Copilot Pro and I'm doing just fine, but this AI sounds interesting. Is it really worth trying Claude? What is the average user experience with it? Has anybody used it for this kind of work? I don't mind even giving a try to the pro version for a month if it's really better than the free version. Thanks
