Felt really good today, we had 6 Monarchs at one time in our 1 year old Butterfly Garden in Michigan. Managed to capture this cool picture with 4 on one plant. When we purchased the house the garden was ornamental grass and hostas. So this has been an awesome change!

Utilizing a Dead Maple Post-Storm

Hey, I'm looking for any advice or ideas on how to utilize this tree that was destroyed during a bad storm. I've been slowly transitioning the gardens on my property to feature native plants. My thoughts currently would be to rip up the yard in an area around it and plant a new garden and use the tree as a natural trellis for a native vine. Ideas? I'm located in SW Michigan, zone 6a.
