The title sums things up.
I committed to my local state school and signed the NLI in late March. I did not get any athletic aid due to the fact I signed on later in the year.
2 days before may 1st, my dad gets laid off.
We used to be above any fafsa aid, however, now we desperately need some.
I’ve been talking to my university, SAI appeals, all that but they aren’t going to give us enough money. My parents are choosing to prioritize my siblings private school (she’s gifted but also special needs so this is non-negotiable) so there’s not enough left over for me to attend school other the community college (free in my area/circumstances)
I’ve accepted my situation, but I’m worried about my school. How will this reflect on my school/sports team if I break my NLI? And will I lose eligibility to keep playing?
