I’m an IMG preparing for AMC Clinical. I completed the Amir course once and made notes, but after my visa got rejected, I completely lost momentum. Now I’m struggling to even open my notes again.

Before I push myself again, I really want honest answers from people who’ve actually given the exam:

Is the exam actually doable or is it overhyped? How difficult is the level in real life? How are the examiners – strict or fair? How are the PE stations? Is time management realistically possible?

Right now I feel confused, stuck, and unsure if I’m even preparing the right way. Would really appreciate genuine experiences and advice.

Hi everyone,

I’m an IMG who cleared AMC MCQ, preparing for AMC Clinical in June, but feeling stuck.

Limited clinical experience

Visa recently rejected

Not earning → financial pressure on family

Home country PG exam coming up

I’m genuinely confused about what to prioritise.

Is continuing AMC still worth it in my situation?

How realistic is getting a job with low experience after AMC Clinical?

Would really appreciate honest, practical advice — not just motivation.

Thanks 🙏
