Failed Attestation Status Fix on Gigabyte AM5 Board
There's many threads about this but because I went through a bunch to fix mine I thought I'd put it all in one just in case someone was in my shoes.
I have a Gigabyte B650 UD AC-Y1 AM5 Board with a AMD Ryzen 5 7600X. I’m also running Windows 11 Pro with Bitlocker enabled.
My BIOS was on the F32 firmware and I had to do incremental updates. F32 > F35 > F37 > F40 (If you have Bitlocker on, make sure you suspend it before you reboot to update your BIOS)
Once done I had to update the AMD Chipset Software. Issue was, the installer/uninstaller for the firmware I had installed was gone from the system, 6.05.16.221, so I kept getting the "error 1714 the older version of amd chipset drivers cannot be removed" error. So I had to Google for a download for that specific version, then run it to uninstall the driver.
Reboot
Install the newer AMD Chipset Driver
Reboot
Then I had to go to tpm.msc and clear the TPM
Reboot
Open the COD Secure Attestation Wizard as admin then generate keys.
Once all is done you should pass all the tests and you can try opening the game.
Bonus: I've seen people talk about the COD Broker but I don't know if that makes a difference because mine was on manual and I set it to automatic and it still wasn't working. I tried this in the middle of trying to update my chipset drivers
