Hello.

I work part time in a government position. 24 hours a week.

When I started my employment I was promised overtime opportunities. For the first 3 years of my employment I was never given them. I complained and I was told full time people get them first not casuals... I complained because I was promised overtime and I am not a casual.

The issue was seemingly resolved after numerous complaints and I got some opportunists but recently despite the big boss saying to me Full time and part time get the same opportunity I was recently told that once again its not the case. I have complained again about this as what my supervisor has said is in direct contradiction to what her boss said to me and the rest of us.

I cant think of a justifiable reason why they would back flip back on this. Don't full time and part time have to be treated the same legally
