Dating in Malta

First off i hope all is well, and i hope that everyone reading or commenting on this thread will be as much as friendly as possible.

(This is coming from a 24 M) and is something visually and internally have been noticing quite a bit in regarding to the dating scene in Malta.

Through the years it feels like it has become much more difficult everyday that goes by to really not only meet new people but also to even find someone that would like to at least try to take that romantic step.

Some points in regards to this kinda problem kind comes from the fact that as a country every year we build more and more pressure on an individual. (No matter the sex) from 16 years to 21 (maybe more) one finds themselves studying non stop or trying to grind as much as possible to find a comfortable job that they like. From 22 upwards most people kinda lean towards career and economic development.

Thus lessening the time and energy to get yourself out there. Now i know not everyone is in the same pool, some people are already settled or they just dont care, however i do feel like the points i mentioned have an incredible effect on social like ingeneral especially in romance.

Right now i find myself in tether personally once career development and school are no issue. I do find myself not finding opportunities where people are down for having a vision for family life.

24 years Age wanting to meet new friends

Hi all, wanted to post this as it has been on my mind for quite some time, for some reason ever since i had my 24th Birthday, for some reason a fear in me kicked in of dying alone in the future not necessary not finding a partner but even having people in my life that i can relate to.

Ever since i graduated university back in 2023, life has been primarily going to work and going home to play video games i have tried other hobbies, to try to fill out the gaps however nothing really felt sticking out.

I do have a friend group however mainly they are either busy during the weekend with work or family which i understand in this country economy. However i feel like other people in this country are like me and was wondering if there can be any chance of connections on this post to build some friendly relationships and do things we like.

I live in the south area and my main hobbies are gaming, hiking and going out ingeneral. I do feel like in Malta there arent a lot of opportunities for early adults to meet new people to hang out and trying reddit out for a try might be the way forward.

This most might sound in a case of desperation but i genuinely think online connections might be the most effective way nowadays to build bonds slowly.

Hope all of you are having a nice day and looking forward to hearing from yall.
