I’m on the hunt for a new running shoe. I’ve done a couple of half’s, regularly run 10k+ on a Sunday long run, like sprints and speed sessions, a few hyrox etc etc.
My long runs I’ll run a 5:45-6min/km pace but can push it to a 4:45-5:10 on a tempo/threshold.
I’ve been injured with my knee the last 6 months so done lots of rehab and only just picking it back up.
I apparently over pronate and I do like a support shoe, I have the brooks adrenaline gts for long runs but I hate these now they feel like lead on my feet, I love the brooks Hyperion gts for speed but they’ve sadly discontinued these.
I’m looking for a daily run trainer but like one that’s responsive and doesn’t feel too weighty with a bit of bounce but also semi stable.
Looking at the asics gel kayano or sauconys Tempus however any advice and recommendations would be helpful.
Well done if you made it to the end.
