Just looking for some advice. My company has recently been taken over. Employers name is still the same but new owners.

We have been asked to sign new more in depth contracts which are different to our old contracts with extra clauses, for example longer notice period, different holiday rules, no mention of our current WFH policy.

I currently work 2 days from home as agreed by the old owners who told the new owners it’s non negotiable. I therefore would like it in my contract or at least a side letter. However the new owners are saying they can’t do that is it’s a personal arrangement between myself and the old owners but will honour the arrangement.

Can anyone advise on how I can protect myself with regards to WFH? Or any other advise about how a takeover should be dealt with? There has been no communication other being told we are taken over one week then new contracts the next. I feel they are changing the goalposts on how we have worked for the last 10 plus years so I want to understand my rights and entitlements (if any!) or I just need to lump it or move on.

Thanks!!
