Strange question but once you get a contract within your domain does this raise or lower the chances of getting additional contracts within your domain at the same time?

I ask because I have one current contract on pause within my domain but keep getting auto rejected (within five minutes of applying - and I apply as soon as they open ) for others in the same domain which baffles me.

I assume my domain interview was good enough to pass and get the first contract but now it seems i cannot get anything else .
