Email saying "We will contact you shortly to let you know of any next steps." Why?
Hi everyone, why do I receive emails like this? They just throw me into a world of confusion and pain! I've been on tenterhooks recently waiting for the outcome of an interview I did, and I just got an email saying "We know you will be eager to know the outcome and we will contact you shortly to let you know of any next steps." Why send this?! Does every applicant receive this? I'm assuming they do. Rant over. Sorry.
