Is this a possible leak under my bathroom sink.

My fiancée and I just noticed this a day or two ago. It looks like the wood is slowly splitting and discoloring. I can’t see/hear and water leaking under the sink. I had already submitted a warranty thru the builders and the person they sent said he doesn’t think it is but will talk with their plumber to determine the next course of action.
