So ive always had wanted a 2000s era sportster my uncle owned one and hes since passed and always took me riding with him. Im rode my whole life mainly dirtbikes quads until I graduated in 05 and got into street bikes had my son back in 2018 and then had a wr250r with alot of work super moto and switch back and fourth would've never sold it but unfortunately got t-boned back in August so im looking at a 2000 sportster 1200. Can anyone give some heads up things to look for when I go? Common issues or anything I know anythings fixable and changeable but I don't want to get totally screwed. Any help is much appreciated and pictures for ideas any first mods that are suggested anything helps thank you
