Advice wanted for 175/65/R14 tires

I drive a lightweight vehicle (950 kg) without ABS. I am currently running Bridgestone T005 tires in size 175/65 R14, which were genuinely among the top premium touring tires available when they launched in 2017-8 especially in smaller sizes, where they were practically the benchmark choice at the time.

My current set was installed in 2020, so due to age I now need to replace them. Rather than focusing on a specific model, I would appreciate recommendations based on the following criteria and driving characteristics:

  1. Strong, dry, and wet grip, particularly in terms of lateral grip and cornering stability after the initial break-in period.
  2. Predictable and progressive behavior near the braking limit, which is especially important for vehicles without ABS. I am looking for tires that communicate grip loss gradually under braking, both in dry and wet conditions, rather than behaving like an abrupt on/off switch when approaching lock-up.
  3. Good ride comfort and compliance. Ideally:
    • relatively soft sidewalls,
    • good absorption of road imperfections,
    • and reduced harshness in order to minimize stress on steering and suspension components.

If anyone has experience with tires that fit these characteristics, I would greatly appreciate your recommendations and impressions.

Thank you in advance.
