My father owed money to someone and that person was constantly harassing us for years. He used to come and sit in our house for hours. I stepped in and started repaying him little every month. It’s been 5 years now, the debt has not yet been settled. Now i’m in a situation where i can either afford food and pay bills or pay him back.

I don’t have the courage to tell him that I have paid him enough and won’t be able to continue.

I feel it was my dad’s debt and i should have never stepped it.
