Spending 2 weeks and Rome soon and can’t wait to be back! But I haven’t been to Italy in 10ish years.

At the time cash was still vastly preferred over credit cards, if they would even accept credit cards. Are restaurants, cafes, taxi, etc OK with card and tap now?

Although it was so satisfying to drop a few euro coins on the dish for my morning cappuccino
