I'm wanting try and get started but everything seems very overwhelming and I'm not sure how to do weight loss things and still want to live.
Hello this isn't actually important. It's not "for" anything. I'm not taking a math class or trying to make something. I just had thought of this question and have no idea how to solve it or what to look up to find out how to solve it so I've come here.
I'll explain the question with a game. I have a six-sided die and a coin. I roll the die. If I roll a six, I win. If I roll any other number, I flip the coin. If it lands heads, I get another chance to roll the die. If it lands tails, I lose. What are my odds of winning? And, since the 6 sided die and the coin are both arbitrary, how would find the solution if I wanted to plug in something other 1 in 6 and 1 in 2?
Please let me know if this is not the most appropriate sub to ask this in and where might be better if this is not that place. Also please let me know if I've tagged this wrong since I'm not completely sure if this counts as statistics or not.
