Salty Sweater Salt Replacement

Just started marathon training for an October marathon. Looking for advice from others who are also salty sweaters!

I’ve noticed during some of my longer runs and previous shorter hard race efforts I have the worst stomach/pelvic cramps. This leaves me absolutely drained and unable to eat for hours after running.

I ran a half marathon today had 2 salt stick electrolytes chews an hour in with 2 16oz bottles of water and 2 honey stingers. Maybe this wasn’t enough? It was 80 degrees and sunny also.

I would appreciate any advice here as I’m finding this super discouraging :-( I’ve read a bit on skratch powder and LMNT. I’m wondering if I should bring one bottle of water and one electrolyte? Maybe add in pills/chews too I’ve also heard good things about s-caps.

I’m 25F 5’8 130 pounds for reference

Thank you in advance
