Does anyone know if there is a way to retain list indentation styles between Word online and Desktop word?

It works if they are separate unlinked styles for each level, but as soon as they are linked they reset to the level 1 indent when you open up in word online (from desktop word).

There are 3 Multilevel list options in word online - but if I try to modify the indent settings & update the style to match they don't save. They just revert back to the original list settings.

I'm desperate, TIA 😊
