Undergrad stats. Advice.

Hey everyone! Just wanted some advice. I’ve been stressing about my GPA. It’s not horrible. I have one C (a four credit class) which is why it isn’t as high as I’d like. I’ve retaken two classes (one was a C the other an F , got an A for the retakes)The F was in government…super embarrassing. Anyways, I also have a W. Now that I’m typing all this out it I’m losing even more hope of getting into a program. Well, I might have another W. Which is why I’m freaking out. I suck at physics and my professor is horrible therefore I’m struggling hardcore right now. I’m just wondering if there’s still hope of me getting into a program. Just feeling stupid and discouraged.

Under qualified but still landed an interview.

Hello everyone. I applied for a lab technician job at a local family practice. In their description they said they wanted an experienced lab tech and then listed instruments that you would be using, but that was it.

So I applied since they had a part time position. The thing is I only have about a year of experience. I worked in a pathology lab and I’m currently completing a lab assistant internship (clinical diagnostics lab) with a big name corporation. I’m still in school, majoring in biology planning to graduate spring 2027.

The thing is I feel kinda not qualified for the job. But nonetheless I still got an interview. The clinic reached out to me on indeed saying they saw my experience and wanted to interview with me.

Tips? Feeling a bit discouraged even though I got an interview.

Shadowing in SATX

Hey everyone! Trying to find someplace to shadow a PA in San Antonio, Texas. I tried looking for some positions for gross tech but haven’t found any. Everything seems to be in Austin or Dallas. I’ve been stressing about not getting shadowing hours as I’m trying to be as competitive as possible. I’ll be graduating soon and will take a gap year to get some more experience and save up money. Any help is welcome! Thanks!
