Hi all,

I bought an 11 year old car 3 weeks ago with 40kkm, full service history and even did a pre purchase inspection. It passed with flying colours.

Purchase was made from a factory dealer in vic (it was a trade in). This week it has started indicating that the oil pressure is low (could be a faulty sensor or a dead engine). I reached out to the dealer to see if there was any assistance they could offer and they advices that as it doesnt have a stautory waranty, they are unable to assist.

I was aware the car didnt come with a warranty but is there any considerations/actions i can take noting that such a short period has passed?

Any advice is appreciated. Even if its telling me im on my own 😂.
