Hey! I might apply for the direct phd next april and I had some questions. Would appreciate it if anyone that has done the direct phd in CS could give insights!!

What was your profile when you applied (how much did your publications matter)?

What does your day-to-day look like in the first two years while you're a "Msc" student?

How much research did you get to do in the first few years?

Did you have a professor vouch for you / did you already have a professor who wanted you as their phd student?

Do you recommend it lol?
