I decided to play through Darksiders 2 PS5 since I just finished Warmastered PS5 on Apocalyptic (without my Abyssal Armor, thanks THQ...), and my God it is awful. Horrible screen tearing, horrible performance, new terrible glitches, and no patch to fix anything after a year or so being out. I just had a glitch where Karn got stuck behind one of those sphere key things when he was supposed to pick up a life stone. Luckily I was able to blow it away with a bomb, but if it happened where there were no bombs I'd be screwed. I don't remember these issues with the PS4 version, but correct me if I'm wrong.

What the hell happened with this game? I don't know how you make an enhanced version that's worse than the previous version. But I give up. If I've ran into this many issues already in the first world, I can't imagine how bad the later areas are. I might just go through the PS4 version instead. Hell, the PS3 version might be better.

I'm just really disappointed with how they're handling the series now. I've liked all the games, even 3, but these last two were just disappointing. Warmastered PS5 wasn't that bad I suppose, but waiting 3 weeks for a patch that just fixes a bug they added is ridiculous. Hopefully they're taking care to not release Darksiders 4 in such a horrible state.

I should have asked this before I got to where I am, but I forgot about it. In the PS4 version and the new PS5 version, the base scythe can only get to level 3 and only the Harvester can get to level 4. So what I did was buy the base scythe with the intention to upgrade to the Harvester later. I just got my scythe to level 3 and went to buy the other one, then I remembered I did this in the PS4 version. When I bought the Harvester on PS4, it lost all the levels. Has anyone done this yet to confirm they fixed this? I understand they are technically two different weapons, but I'm pretty sure in the original PS3 version you could get the base Scythe to level 4.
