My adult adopted daughter received her Grant of Citizenship
Just received notification today that my daughter's Proof of Citizenship was available to download. Her Part 1 (CIT0010e) application was approved on February 6, 2026 (the same day I received my Proof of Citizenship as a G2 born outside Canada following C-3). Her Part 2 (CIT0012e) application was submitted the week of March 11 -- not 100% sure when it was received given the lack of tracking for Part 2 apps. Her date of citizenship on her certificate is noted as May 22, 2026.
Now she can start process for the Spousal Sponsorship for PR for her husband and hopefully they will be relocating up here with us soon.
Edited to add: We requested expedited processing for her application as she intends to attend nursing school in BC following receiving her BS in Medical Anthropology last June in the U.S. and needed citizenship to apply for schools.
