A photo of the 375 mL bottle of On The Rocks margarita
Hello folks, first time here. I'm dying to learn how to replicate the recipe for the margarita made by On The Rocks cocktails. If you aren't familiar, this company sells a line of premade cocktails, available at any typical grocery store or drug store, assuming they sell alcohol.
I'm a big fan of sour flavors, and this marg is a lovely treat, but, as you might guess, it's rather pricey, since it's a premade and all, so I'm hoping I can find out how to make it at home. I don't have too much to go on, since I've never tried to do anything like reverse-engineering a recipe for anything before, but I can tell you that it does taste quite tart, perhaps a bit more so than some other margaritas I've had before. Frustratingly, its ingredients aren't listed anywhere, but it seems to be centered around Hornitos blanco tequila and triple sec (per the label), and it has some blend of citrus flavors, with little reason to assume it has much real fruit juice content. It's labeled as having 20% ABV.
I'm just hoping someone here might take an interest in this one and help me out. Thanks!
