Picking a fridge up off the dock and I can’t insert the white electric lead into the socket. Luckily I had a 15 pin to 15 pin so I still had all my electrics but if I didn’t have that option, can you run with only the black lead connected? I’ve been driving for 12 plus years and it’s only happened now when I can’t use the white connector.
So I’m back again with another crap collection point, this time in Halifax. Can’t make the turn because so muppet has abandoned their car on double yellows. There was another car in front of that but managed to get that moved. Couldn’t find the driver of the Merc so I decided to call 101, it’s not my job to hunt down owners of illegally parked cars.
It’s caused quite a problem as I was causing people problems exiting and entering this road. Police did eventually turn up and would have the car towed but they helped back me out onto the main road so I can get round to actually collected the 9 pallets of theatre drapes I was supposed to get. Never in my life have I been so happy to see a parking attendant. Funnily enough if you look on street view you can see someone arguing with another attendant about getting a ticket for parking on double yellows.
