following up on my last post. someone told me to use it in the kitchen, but i'm way too lazy to stretch and cook at the same time lol.

i just kicked it over by the window. the silicone bumps are what actually make a difference for my pf. when my heels get stiff from sitting, standing on this feels like a massage ball digging right into the arches. it's way better than standing on a flat board.

mornings don't feel like stepping on glass right now. anyone got any other zero-effort hacks for pf? i absolutely refuse to roll a frozen water bottle under my desk all day.

tbh i’ve been dealing with this bs heel pain for ages. bought all the expensive shoes, custom inserts, did the tennis ball rolling... nothing really stuck or worked long term.

saw some posts here about passive stretching on a slant board. watched a keith baar video about isometric holds (https://youtu.be/BnFzjcPTSsc) and it kinda made sense. so i got a basic wooden board.

the stretching actually helped a bit, but standing barefoot on that rough grip tape was absolute hell on my sensitive heels. and tbh i'm way too lazy to put on shoes just to stretch in my bedroom.

was complaining about it and saw a friend using one that had a silicone surface. got me curious so i looked into it and found this medical review (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/25694489/) that basically says standing on hard surfaces makes pf worse. like, forcing an already inflamed heel into a rock-hard board just aggravates it. kinda explains why my feet were screaming.

so instead of quitting the stretches, i just swapped it for a portable liquid silicone board.

ngl, the difference is night and day. i just stand on it barefoot for 5 mins while scrolling my phone. the silicone is squishy so it doesn't stab my heel. my morning stabbing pain is actually fading.

idk man, if ur trying the slant board thing but the hard tape is killing u barefoot, look for a silicone one. completely saved my feet.
