Sour Blackberry hard cider using Brew Demon Hard Cider, need advice
Hey all,
I got a hard cider kit as a gift and made my first cider!
Following the instructions, I waited a week to brew then did a sample. It was awful, it was sour and so off putting. I found out the room I had it fermenting in has a vent that changes the temperature quite a bit.
I decided to wait another week based on brew times online, the second taste was a lot better but a bit sour.
I've decided to give it one more week.
Is this the normal expected taste? I was expecting a blackberry white wine sort of taste. Is this batch completely ruined and should I start again?
