What gait is this?
I am not very familiar with gaited horses and the different gaits to know what this is! It feels closer to a walk than a trot and she offers it very readily. I’ve not got much experience with gaited breeds outside of a few Icelandics to know. She is half non gaited Navajo pony and half unknown. She’s also only recently started under saddle so everything’s a little all over the place lol. I am INTENTIONALLY holding her back to find whatever is there between the walk and trot. She’s never been asked this before so yes it looks truly awful but there’s no way she isn’t gaited. Thank you!
