Today, me, my sister and cousin went to Bayshore mall. We went there by bus, as soon as we went in this lady stopped us. For the sake of the story, for you to understand better, she was a black french woman and so are my family and I.(we are black not french) And we are all teenagers.

She stopped us and was speaking French, I said “non parle” then kept walking I looked back and realized that my family was still talking to her, trying to understand what she was saying, I dragged them and told them to leave her. We didn’t even walk ten steps until we got stopped again. This time by a man. Same dynamic, black and french. He tried talking to us then i said again “non parle” my family did the same thing again by trying to understand what he was saying. I dragged them to leave. He went in-front of us and said “No french? don’t worry i speak English” then i yelled at him and said “NO we are not interested, leave us alone” then we walked away. This happened as soon as we walked in to the building through the second door after the closed Hudson’s Bay entrance.

We were on our way to Urban Planet when another lady stopped us, black and french. Before she could even say anything I yelled “NO” then she said “Oh? No?” to en i dragged my family to walk away. This was around Specsavers and Uniqlo.

Just wanted to know if someone else has experienced this?
