Anyone know how to book train ticket

So basically I'm going rajsthan by train and I don't know how to book train ticket and I tried it but there are two train that I have to take to reach rajsthan and that is Bhuj to Ahmedabad And second is Ahmedabad to udaipur city And second one is available but the first one is showing waiting list and I don't know how to book and I don't know anything about travel alone though And yaa that's my first solo trip and I'm very nervous rn and please give me some tips to travel alone , stay anything that you know and maybe that might be helpful for my first trip and yaa anyone interested to come with ?
