Still like Tamlin

Hear me out… I’m rereading ACOTAR and I still like Tamlin 😭

I KNOW everything that happens later. I know the discourse. I know all the reasons people hate him. But rereading the first book again? I can’t help genuinely enjoying him and Lucien together.

Their dynamic is actually so funny, and Tamlin in the beginning has some really sweet moments that still get me kicking my feet a little bit lol. Him making poems out of Feyre’s vocabulary words?? The awkward flirting?? Lucien constantly trying to help Tamlin with being so bad with women?? I’m eating it up all over again.

I still don’t think Tamlin and Feyre were meant to last, but first-book Tamlin will always have a place in my heart idc 😭

The Vanserra Brothers Team-Up Would be Crazy in ACOTAR 6

What if the next ACOTAR book is actually centered around Lucien Vanserra and Eris Vanserra teaming up??

Two brothers constantly underestimated by everyone finally being forced to work together. Political scheming, secret alliances, court drama, morally gray decisions… it would be SO good.

And honestly? They’re some of the most interesting characters in the series because we still don’t fully know their true motives. Imagine them uncovering secrets about the Autumn Court, the Day Court, and maybe even Koschei together.

Give me enemies-to-allies brother tension. Give me “we don’t trust each other but no one else understands us.” Give me Vanserra chaos

I kind of want a Lucien villain arc… but not in a flat, evil-for-no-reason way. More like morally gray, pushed too far, finally choosing himself after everything he’s been through.

And THEN slow burn chaos I still want Elain and Lucien endgame. But not soft and easy. I’m talking tension, longing, “we shouldn’t want this but we do anyway” energy… like Caroline and Klaus in Vampire Diaries.

Give me stolen moments, complicated loyalty, and that “I’d ruin everything for you” vibe.

Am I alone in this or would this absolutely EAT??
