Pretty disappointed about the no-show in Seattle
So I posted last week looking for more information about the Seattle show at SPU. Nobody knew anything because the band had been radio silent on it, and the tickets on Bandsintown weren’t up. But with it being at a college and having no info about it, I assumed it might be a free show and I showed up (Ubered half way across the city too as SPU is in a really shitty part of town for public transport).
It was a ghost town. Very clear the show had been canceled and nobody was there. I’m just super disappointed that they literally said NOTHING about the status of the show, kept it on their tour card and everything. Posted tons about the SF and Portland shows on either end of it as well. All it would have taken was a quick post. I even reached out to the band on IG a week before to ask them about it. I understand not checking every dm they get as it’s probably hundreds, but still the whole thing has left a bad impression for a band I really enjoy.
