Best places for rabbit hunting?

Been hunting deer and elk with buddies over the years, but the kid is now of the age to take small game hunting. Grabbed a 10/22 and a silencer.

What's the best place to find an area for us to go? They're too young to shoot but want to tag along.

Seen rabbits out on my treks in the deep mountains, but that's far too much for them.

Any ideas or any thoughts on where to do this for this coming season or anyone have any info where I can find material to read up on?

Edit: and yes it's obviously not in season yet, but would like to start scouting areas. I live near bear creek lake park

Am I missing anything to get?

I’ve been living in Colorado for about six years

Never never really wanted a rifle or anything, but had a CCW to protect me legally for Backcountry hiking, i.e. hiking with a jacket and the jacket covers my pistol

Was planning a trip to Montana and went into a LGS to purchase a 10 mm pistol and they informed me about SB003

This was two weeks ago

Since then, I’ve gone from owning one gun to 10 because I am not going to take a shit class and I’m not gonna be put in a separate database or any of that shit

Just wondering if you guys can take a look at what I have and tell me if I’m missing anything

I know three of the guns in this list aren’t going to be restricted, but I included him anyway for completeness

This law is kind of bullshit

I never wanted to have this many guns and I never expected to so I’m buying things to protect me and my family and to give me the versatility to enjoy my second amendment rights in the future
