I don't understand the heat generated on here over Accredited Agents and Lawyers

I don't understand why we as a community will tell someone who is struggling to navigtate an archiac, counter intuitive process that they should under no circumstances pay someone 20% of their backpay to make the process simpler.

If someone doesnt have the capacity to navigate govt bueracracy then why is it a negative. If you are stalled at 30% because you dont understand how to build claims to win, you dont know what information you need to develop or even how to find it then WHY is it bad to have someone else take on that load and let them earn the money they deserved for handling the process. 100% of a zero increase isnt worth more than 20% of a 70% increase.

R/L Radic no bilateral? How to correct?

Dec 2025 I was granted L Radiculopathy 10% and then in March 2026 R Radiculopathy 20%. I was reading my codesheet and saw that no bilateral factor was applied. How would i correct this?

Do I file a supplemental, HLR or appeal to correct it? It should be proforma as the bilateral should be a simple records review to confirm the conditions and rating right?

Va should install a minigame on va.gov

The va should install a mini game like candy crush, clash of clans, golf, sniper, gatcha games etc on thei weebsite and app. That way we would have something to do inbetween screen refreshes!

Submitted supplemental for OSA and Migraines!

I submitted a supplemental claim for OSA and Migraines. I had lay statement, buddy letter from my wife, diagnosis from VA pcp, prescription for Sumatrapin, headache log and a private nexus lettet addressing causation and aggrevation as well as rebuking obesity as I lost 70lbs in the 12months prior to sleep study or cpap prescription.

The va requested an optumserve exam, sent a rework request 4 times to the examiner, sent a medical option rework request and then last week sent to QTC for a completely different examiner to generate a dbq and mo.

How is this the va giving me a fair shake? This feels like a rater shopping for a result!

I submitted a fully supported claim that included nexus for both conditions (it was a 14 page nexus letter from a private health provider citing my strs and treatment notes with the va) evidence of diagnosis, studies, treatments and severity. Lay statements and buddy letters documenting symptoms an chronicty.

Va's paid for examiner provided a lack luster rebuttal to my evidence and nexus so they asked for multiple reworks and clarifications and have now asked for a totallydifferent provider and examiner to weigh in. I feel like I am being intentionally shafted by a rater

Supplemental claim for OSA/migraines is going through its 2nd rework exam?!?!

This is beyyond frustrating, I have Nexus letters, lay statements, buddy letters, Sleep Study, Cpap prescxription, Diagnosis, Headache logs, Sumatrapin Prescription, Migraine diagnosis...and now I am on my 2nd rework in less than 2 weeks.

Should I pursue a CUE with an agent over this?

I need advice. I was denied my first intial claim in 2012 for asthma. I was MED board seperated in 1996. The va has 2 notes in my med board that state Diagnostic code 6602 and that VRE shows a rating of 10% or greater. When I filed my first interaction with the VA in 2011 it was for an intial claim for asthma. I failed to attend the C and P, Denial reaason says the evidence does not show a disability, the explaanation states i missed my C and P. The problem that is confussing me is that the EP code is 020, my issue on va.gov shows Chronic Asthma (new), but the notes in va .gov state Increase SC claimed - medical evidence needed (Chronic Asthma)”. 38 CFR 3.655(b says When a claimant fails to report for an examination scheduled in conjunction with an original compensation claim, the claim shall be rated based on the evidence of record. So i should have been rated on the Med board that the va acknowledged in the med board they had. The CFR says for an increase if you miss an exam then it is a denial, but this was an initial claim, if it was an increasse in the VA system that would mean I was already service connected for Asthma and the denial was the rrater removing my rating? Is this somethinng i should pursue with an acredited agent. I am currently 30% Asthma and have a HLR scchedduled to go for 60% because the rater did not use mmy FEV1 prediccted of 49% and 6602 is disjunctive .
