Possibly silicified tabulate coral? Found in Inabe River, Mie Prefecture, Japan

Hi all, I found this specimen in a gravel bar of the Inabe River, Mie Prefecture, Japan. The area is known for Paleozoic limestone with fusulinid fossils.

Observations:

No reaction to HCl (dilute hydrochloric acid)

Heavy for its size

Can be scratched by a nail

Lattice structure visible

Fibrous mineral visible on one face (possibly tremolite?)

Small vugs with acicular crystals inside
