Please share your favorite activity to do on the last day of class, I would love some inspiration!
Our last day of class is Friday and we'll be doing a bit of a review for the final (driven by the students' questions that they submit ahead of time.) But today I did what I typically do on the last day, which is to show them an interesting and important application that ties together a lot of the ideas we have been learning. This group of students couldn't have cared less so it fell flat and I feel deflated - I was so excited to show them something that I find meaningful and cool. Maybe I should have just cancelled class and told them to catch up on whatever they need to catch up on? But I am not ready to give up yet so looking for ideas that will grab the attention of GenZ/Alpha :)
