Also is sunken sword worth getting if im using plasma?

Hi, im trying to save up money for an Omen cloak. I dont go on parties with other players and the likes to hunt omens since i mainly play solo. I have leveled my trading to 5 and im thinking of another way to farm or maybe sell on the marketplace while fleet trading does its job.

Also a bonus question. What do vice command ships do or rather what is the point of them?
