Hey everyone! Wanted to share exciting updates on Verve Consulting (coming-soon site: createwithverve.com) and some new opportunities for anyone looking for real, hands-on work experience now and/or this summer.
What is Verve? We're a high school and college student–led consulting firm that provides technical and strategic support to nonprofits, small businesses, and startups. We started Verve with a reckoning that too many organizations lack the support they need to stay viable in an increasingly competitive environment, and too many ambitious students have no real outlet to translate their talents into meaningful, real-world work. In turn, Verve pairs students with real client projects, so you gain legitimate, hands-on experience while creating measurable community impact.
Our current client portfolio includes:
- A mental health nonprofit and a sports manufacturing company
- A major East Coast real estate firm with $500M+ in transactions, ranked in the top 1.5% of realtors nationally, and featured in the New York Times and CBS News
- A nonprofit rethinking how targeted donations work through a more sustainable, capital-driven model.
- *NEW & OPEN FOR CONSULTANTS* A multi-location NYC business owner who is retaining Verve to help (1) Model expansion scenarios that account for shifts in management and overhead, as well as (2) Plan an eventual exit/sale of the entire portfolio (6-7 figure revenue) that can potentially be a middle-market deal.
- Active conversations with high-growth startups and founder networks across the country to expand our client pipeline.
We also just announced a partnership with Momentum Worldwide, a global experiential marketing agency whose clients include Coca-Cola, American Express, and Coachella, as part of a series of professional development programming for Verve team members.
Right now we're hiring for:
- Consultants across strategy, operations, technical, and more, including paid grant-writing roles (industry-standard commission on successful grants).
- Director of Strategic Marketing & Communications
- Director of Community & Growth
- Director of Client Engagement
