Hi all, I'm having a tough time trying to decide on which BBQ / Smoker to treat myself with after moving into a new home.
I've managed 6 good years with the aldi drum BBQ and even managed some good smokes of beef ribs, burnt ends, and pork shoulder, albeit with a lot of fire management. I'm looking to retire the drum and get something fancier but I'm unsure whether to go Masterbuilt Gravity or pellet smoker (Traeger / Pit Boss) for a more relaxed life, or an offset or Weber Smokey Mountain for an easier but still involved smoke.
Budget would be around £500 with a little either side, could maybe stretch to £800 for the right one. I've also got a Weber Smokey Joe that I can use for grilling so that functionality isn't necessary on the new one.
