Can tissue damage resolve itself?

Hello everybody, another question from me. My original MD, who diagnosed my Lupus, left the practice, so I switched to the MD who owns the practice.

So, my first doctor never told me that I already had tissue damage in one of my kidneys, but the new MD told me it was in the other doctor's notes, and he said that since I've been on meds, the damage had resolved itself.

???

Is that possible? I asked him the same thing, and he said yes, "If we got you on meds in time, and we did."

It still doesn't make sense to me. I like the new MD, and he's checking me for vasculitis as well, but can tissue damage really be reversed?

Thanks for reading and responding.

Dizziness and legs feel like they have weights on them

I was diagnosed in October 2025. Lately, I find that if I'm out for a long time, there are times when I get very dizzy, almost Vertigo. I have to sit down and collect myself. Also, sometimes my legs feel like lead when I walk. Is this part of Lupus? I see my doctor next week. And my nice thick hair? I'm noticing clumps of it in the shower. I offer my support to all of you here, but I'm new to these symptoms, and I don't know if it is Lupus causing them or something else.

Thanks for responding!
