21M, 13 months post lateral meniscus repair and still no real improvement. Knee is still painful, can’t do sports, can’t sit on my knees or come close to a squat, and rehab has felt completely stalled for the last 9 months. I am pretty sure that I’m depressed.

Has anyone had a meniscectomy after a failed repair? Did it help? How was recovery compared to the repair surgery?
