I don't want a podcast where factual issues or reasoning errors go unchecked, but the kind of conversation Hutch and Pisco had here shouldn't be happening on the Lib n' Learn podcast for several reasons
It suppresses discussion with the guest, since now Pisco and Hutch are talking instead.
It gives the show a chaotic or even incoherent feel where the supposed guest isn't the main focus of the discussion.
It gives bad faith guests an out if a particular line of questioning/attack is very effective, but not perfectly reasoned according to Pisco's particular views.
Also, I gotta point out that it's kind of a microcosm about left-wing infighting when you have a guest on and can't even support your podcast hosts as they talk to the guest when you disagree on so minor and inconsequential a point.
