Is it worth upgrading?
I currently have the base Pixel 6 and my cell provider (Boost) is offering me a Pixel 10a for $100. I've been considering the upgrade, but not sure if it's worth it. I'm sure in terms of future Android updates the 10a will be more secure over time. What I'm not sure of is gaming performance. I play a decent amount of games on my phone and truthfully, they don't run the best, but for me it's not worth the upgrade if the 10a is going to be worse. There's no benchmarks comparing the two directly.
For reference the most demanding games I play are Pokemon GO, GRID Autosport, CSR Racing 2, and Umamusume, and as my phone gets older and games I play keep getting updates, the performance on my phone keeps getting worse.
