LBS Prejudice

LBS Prejudice

It’s probably come up a lot, but I’m getting pretty sick of how anti-Canyon LBS staff are.

I’ve been noticing a clicking/banging noise when I’m sprinting or out of the saddle on climbs coming from the front end. I spoke to my LBS owner on the phone, and as soon as I mentioned it was a Canyon his tone changed and he starting talking about how cheap the carbon layup was and it was probably a damaged frame - without having looked at the bike. It could well be, but it’s never been crashed or hit so I’d be surprised, I’d expect it’s more likely to be something to do with the headset but let’s see.

This is just the latest in a long line of jibes I’ve had from LBS staff in the time I’ve had my three Canyon bikes dating back to 2013. Are they really that bad compared to other brands?
