Wipers worn after 3 months
I leased a 2026 Ioniq 5 SEL in mid Feb of 2026 (3 months ago). The wipers are already causing streaks on my window making it really hard to see when it is raining (safety issue in my opinion). The front driver's side is in the worst shape. Yes, I have cleaned them and made sure nothing was stuck in there (i.e. leaf, pine needles, etc).
I am a very frugal person... Should I take this into the dealer to have them replace with the same poor quality wipers? Or just replace them with better quality wipers on my own for ~$80?
Just seems like the dealer should pay me to get new ones on principle. Wipers in general should last at least 2 years. I know I am new to EVs but I figure wipers are pretty universal across motor vehicles. I have purchased new cars before and the wipers always lasted me 2+ years.
