So I know when it comes to discharge upgrades it’s a case by case thing so here is a little bit about mine. I got discharged from the Army September of 2024. It was a general discharge that was labeled as misconducted and they gave me a re code of 4 which I know is impossible to get back in without having a 3. Recruiters told to go to the VA and get it done but reading some of the post on here about previous discharge upgrades i seen that it’s a one shot thing either you DIY with a strong argument or get a lawyer and pay whatever fee that is. I truly dont think i should have gotten a re entry code of 4 when it was my first mistake it was non violent and i didnt get court martial or anything. I would appreciate any advice or a straight answer cause ive been trying to get back in since i got out and everyone has told me different. Again i appreciate anyone willing to take the time and even read this and post any advice
