I’ve been wanting to join a fantasy football league, specifically one made up of women whose husbands/boyfriends/partners are obsessed with football. My husband is a huge football fan, and while I enjoy football too, I’ve never had my own group to do fantasy with.
I also don’t have a big circle of girlfriends locally, so I thought…why not solve both problems at once? 😂 I’d love to put together a Pittsburgh-area women’s fantasy football league that’s as much about meeting people and having fun as it is about fantasy.
I’m picturing something beginner-friendly but still competitive, maybe 8–12 women, an in-person draft night somewhere around Pittsburgh, a group chat for plenty of trash talk, and maybe some optional football/Sunday get-togethers throughout the season.
You definitely do not need to be a fantasy football expert. Honestly, I think it would be even more fun if some of us are figuring it out as we go while our football-obsessed partners desperately try not to manage our teams for us. 😂
