Hello all,

I have been on Vyvanse for most of my life, bla bla bla...

A few years ago I switched from 40mg to 30mg. I wasn't a huge fan of the flat affect and it messed with my sleep significantly. After switching those problems were greatly mitigated so I decided to stick with it. However, I have recently been finishing off those old pills and have come to the realization that switching to a lower dosage likely contributed to my decrease in performance from highschool to college. I can work for almost twice as long on any given day on the 40mg vs the 30mg, and all of my problems feel so much smaller and easier to solve. I even feel it's made me more sociable which was a surprise since I think I was more awkward in highschool than I am now.

I plan to ask my doctor about going back on the 40mg dosage, but unfortunately, the sleep issues and the flat affect have returned. I think somewhere between 30mg and 40mg is a sweetspot, but from what I've seen online it's not possible to get Vyvanse in increments of less than 10. I feel a bit like Goldilocks in this scenario. Does anyone else have a similar problem? I'm aware I could get a prescription for 40mg and do surgery on the pills to remove 3-5 milligrams, but that sounds like a massive pain, especially because I have very poor motor control.

Tldr: Does anyone have any special tips/tricks for getting a more precise dosage between 30 and 40mg?
